How we handle your personal data — clear, lawful, GDPR-compliant.

This Privacy Policy explains how Armokitchen Kft. ("ArmoKitchen", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you visit armokitchen.com or interact with our services. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and applicable national law.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

  • Identity & contact data — name, e-mail, phone (when you submit an inquiry, register or about us).
  • Account data — username and securely hashed password if you create an account.
  • Usage data — pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps.
  • Inquiry content — messages, configurations and preferences you share with us, including kitchen-constructor projects you save.

3. Purposes & Legal Bases

  • To provide the website and core features (login, constructor, inquiries) — performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To respond to your inquiries — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and pre-contractual steps.
  • Security, fraud prevention, abuse mitigation — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics, marketing & non-essential cookies — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting) — Art. 6(1)(c).

4. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations. Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months; account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months thereafter; server logs are kept up to 90 days.

5. Sharing & International Transfers

We share data only with processors strictly needed to operate the service (hosting, e-mail delivery, error monitoring). All processors are bound by data-processing agreements. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). We do not sell personal data.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your data (Art. 15);
  • Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16);
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17);
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18);
  • Data portability (Art. 20);
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling (Art. 21);
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing (Art. 7(3));
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Hungary: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), naih.hu.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (TLS in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, regular backups) to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly process their data.

9. Automated Decision-Making

We do not perform automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
